I’m usually up beat and optimistic when attempting to review a product. I gave it enough time and I’ve been using it for the past 3 weeks on a daily basis. One day, this portable power bank finally has its life come to a full stop. First, the USB port interface broke off and does not do me any good at all! It will NOT take a charge and the entire power completely shut down.
Before, I continue ranting and pleading to take it back, let’s take a look at the product’s specifications:
- Provides 1 full charge for Samsung Galaxy and most of Android smart phones.
- Provides 1.8 full charges for iPhone.
- Built in flashlight.
- Includes both universal USB and micro USB Charging ports
- LED charge indicator lights.
Sounds good and dandy, Right? Wrong! The only feature that was fairly cool, was the flash light even then it stopped working. Let me began by saying; the price point was inexpensive looking at $30 bucks online or your local retail store. If you have an iPhone, you better make sure you have your iPhone charge cable. It only comes with a micro USB on one end and the other end is Universal USB in which will plug on most Android devices or PC. Let’s get moving, shall we?
1st. My wife’s iPhone was low on battery about 75% until the next charge.
I plugged it in to charge the iPhone, and it took 3hrs to get fully charged! Very disappointed.
2nd. To develop fully charge on this Power Bank device, it took exactly 8hrs!!! Not happy.
3rd. Very sensitive buttons, when thrown and stored to my back pack. I’m assuming the lights came
On and fully drain the power.
4th. The craftsmanship looks very descent, but when the USB port interface (the plate inside
that holds the wires straight up) started to break off. That was the last straw, I was done with it.
No! I do not recommend this product to anyone, not even my in laws. Anyways, save your money and purchase a totally different power bank. May want do your research and look into a company known as ANKER. I raised my hands and gave it up throw down the towel. Hope you enjoy it and see you next time.
