First, I like to point out that I have been using Mozilla Firefox as my preferred browser for more than a decade. Firefox browser has been around for quite some time and it began as a trial project created by two gentlemen better known as “Joe Hyatt” and “Blake Ross”.
The Mozilla project launched, get this this – at Netscape! On March 31st, 1998, to offer choice to users and eventually drive revolution on the web. For those of you who are clueless to Netscape. Here’s a little background:
Below are the 2 founders “Jim Clark” and “Marc Andreesen”. Founded the company Mosaic Communications Corporation and later on changed its name to the infamous “Netscape”. During the wild do-com boom Netscape created the first popular web browsers in the market.
Moving fast-forward to 2014. Mozilla has always been the advocate of building a better Internet. Their solely mission is to support openness, advance and opportunity on the web. Like Google, Mozilla has the utmost brightest engineers, thinkers and builders working together to keep the internet thriving and available.
I really dig their brand and how they continue to focus on what matters. If you want to know more about Mozilla Firefox, please visit their website at: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/
